Dr. Ronald Lafreni猫re appointed Managing Director of McGill鈥檚 CFREF Program, Healthy Brains for Healthy Lives
In September 2016, the federal government made an unparalleled investment in research and innovation, announcing $84 million in funding over seven years for McGill鈥檚 Healthy Brains for Healthy Lives initiative, as part of the Canada First Research Excellence Fund (CFREF) program. Following this announcement, a committee for the selection of the HBHL Managing Director engaged in an extensive search and interview process.

Research and Innovation Appoints Nancy Ross New AVP
Research and Innovation (R&I) is pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. Nancy Ross of the Department of Geography as Associate Vice-Principal, Research and Innovation (AVP-R&I), with a three-year mandate beginning September 1, 2016.听 Prof. Ross follows Prof. Antonia Maioni, who served in the role for one year before assuming the role of Dean of the Faculty of Arts at 香蕉视频 on July 1.

Dr. Christina Wolfson appointed Deputy Research Integrity Officer
Dr. Christina Wolfson, Professor in the Department of Medicine and in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics and Occupational Health, has been appointed听McGill鈥檚 new Deputy Research Integrity Officer, commencing on January 1, 2016. Effective June 1, 2016, Dr. Wolfson will become McGill鈥檚 Research Integrity Officer for a three-year term, ending May 31, 2019.
