Rock On! Erin Gibbons

The Redpath Museum Society Vice President External, Erin Gibbons, has won the prestigious Vanier Scholarship.Ìý

These awards are Canada’s most prestigious awards for doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows.ÌýNineteen McGill graduate students earned Vanier Scholarships, worth $50,000 each year for three years of study and research.ÌýLaunched in 2008, the Vanier Scholarship program help Canadian institutions attract and retain highly qualified doctoral students in the social sciences and humanities, natural sciences and/or engineering and health research, establishing Canada as a global centre for research excellence and higher training. Recipients of the Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships demonstrate leadership skills and a high level of scholarly achievement in graduate studies.
