Learning objectives:
- Learn about computational psychiatry and its different domains (such as modelling and prediction)
- Become familiar with the process for developing and then deploying a digital health/artificial intelligence intervention in vivo
- Learn how digital health technology, computational psychiatry, and well-established methods, such as rTMS and imaging, can be integrated into a process for furthering our understanding and treatment of mental illness
Bio:
David Benrimoh is a 5th year psychiatry resident at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. He obtained his medical degree from McGill and also completed two Masters during residency: The first was in neuroscience with a focus on computational accounts of auditory hallucinations, under the supervision of Karl Friston at UCL. The second was in psychiatry, with a focus on transdiagnostic imaging in psychosis, under Simon Ducharme and Bratislav Misic at McGill.
David is also co-founder and Chief Science Officer of Aifred Health, a digital mental health startup focused on building and testing AI-powered clinical decision support tools which recently was a finalist in the global IBM Watson AI XPRIZE.
