Professor, Psychology and Psychiatry, Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, Montreal, Quebec. Dr. Pihl, has focused his research in the area of risk factors for the development of drug and alcohol abuse and differentially targeted interventions for these different situations. Furthermore, he has tried to identify the role of different neurotransmitters in depression, alcohol abuse and drug consumption.Ìý
