Call for participants: AHA Moments
Message sent on behalf of the Admins Helping Admins (AHA) Committee
Dear Colleagues,
We are calling on staff members across the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences to share your skills, tips and tricks for three upcoming AHA Moments sessions!
Calling all Green-Thumbs
The gardening season is upon us. We are seeking staff members in the Faculty who would like to share insights on growing plants in preparation for the spring. Let us know if you have particular knowledge in the following areas:
- Indoor plants: which ones to grow and when?
- Making the best out of the gardening season
- “Lifehacks” for gardening in small spaces or with limited sunlight
If you are interested in spreading your plant knowledge, please reach out to Fern by February 26: deanadm.med [at] mcgill.ca
The Faculty’s Got Talent!
Are you a Faculty staff member who creates, crafts, plays instruments, sings, or builds things during your spare time? Are you open to sharing your talents among your colleagues and friends? If so, we invite you to participate in an upcoming AHA Moments Session where you will have up to five minutes to showcase your work (date T.B.A.). Please email your questions or expressions of interest to Angeli: angeli.gallardo [at] mcgill.ca
The Great Outdoors! Summer destinations, tips and tricks
Despite the pandemic putting a damper on our usual summer plans, it opens new opportunities for us to rediscover why Quebec is called la belle province. If you are an outdoor or activity junky with a list of places to explore or family-friendly activities to recommend, let us know! We are looking for suggestions found steps away from centreville or as far as la baie des chaleurs. Submit your destinations, activities, tips and tricks to Matthew. We are also seeking speakers for this session to share destinations, activities and ideas. This session will likely take place in March or April. Please email Matthew: matthew.brett [at] mcgill.ca
Sincerely,
The Admins Helping Admins (AHA) Committee
