Provost’s Town Halls: McGill’s Plan to Address Anti-Black Racism

Dear members of the McGill community,

Christopher Manfredi, Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic), has been given a mandate to develop a plan for Ï㽶ÊÓƵ to advance McGill’s work in connection with anti-Black racism. This plan—which will include specific actions, targets, and timelines—will be shared with the community by the end of September. To help shape the plan, the Provost will host a series of live, virtual Town Halls for the McGill community to share ideas and experiences relating to the student experience, research and knowledge, outreach, workforce and space.

The Sept. 8 session is reserved for Black members of the McGill community. The other sessions are open to all students, faculty and staff.

Provost Manfredi will be happy to receive your questions in advance, submitted through Webex at the time of registration, or during the event.
