Lana F. Zeaiter wins Bourse aux doctorant.e.s en sciences de l'éducation du gouvernement du Québec

Lana F. Zeaiter, PhD Candidate in Educational Studies in the Department of Integrated Studies at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ and Plurilingual Lab member, has won the prestigious Bourse aux doctorant.e.s en sciences de l'éducation, which celebrates excellence in educational research awarded by the government of Québec. The award recognizes PhD students with exceptional potential for a future career as a professor and its main goal is to help ensure that universities can rely on a qualified pool of professors in educational sciences to train the next generation of teachers in Quebec.

Zeaiter's PhD research is titled Building Bridges: A Holistic and Non-Linear Framework for Training Language Teachers in Implementing Plurilingual Pedagogies and Digital Technologies, and is being supervised by Dr. Angelica Galante. This recognition marks a significant milestone in Zeaiter's academic career, validating her research and enabling her present research findings at national and international conferences, fostering engagement with the broader academic community and contributing to the advancement of teacher education in Quebec and beyond.
