Physiology Seminar: Dr. Morgan Craig: "Understanding immunological heterogeneity through computational immunology"
Dysregulation in immunity can have a variety of consequences for human health. Our ability to develop effective treatment and vaccination strategies against many diseases requires understanding how the immune system reacts under challenge and how immunological differences between individuals contribute to disparate outcomes. My lab uses computational immunology based on mathematical modelling to provide insights into immune dynamics in health and disease. Here I will discuss some of our recent work using virtual patients and virtual clinical trials in several contexts to illustrate how integrated modelling, experimental, and clinical research can advance our understanding of immunological heterogeneity and improve therapeutic approaches
This seminar will take place in-person and online (details in attached poster below)Â All are welcome!
