Dr. Altit Nominated Member of CPS Fetus and Newborn Committee and Dr. Duby Awarded Pampers Connectivity Grant
Dr. Gabriel Altit, Assistant Professor in the Division of Neonatology, has been nominated as Member of the Canadian Pediatric Society (CPS) Committee on the Fetus and Newborn (COFN) which helps to define standards of care in neonatology in Canada. Dr. Altit also been invited to join the Institut national d'excellence en santé et services sociaux (INESSS) Working Group on screening for severe congenital cardiac anomalies.
Dr. Jessica Duby, Assistant Professor in the Division of Neonatology, has successfully obtained a Connectivity Grant from Pampers Technology. The grant which will enable the development of a "virtual visiting" program for parents who are unable to visit on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) due to distance or other circumstances. Dr. Duby will be working collaboratively with Nursing and the Northern Module teams of the Montreal Children's Hospital to develop this program.
