Nadine Demko

Dr. Nadia Demko is a Hematopathologist and is double board certified in Anatomical Pathology by the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Pathology. She completed a BSc in Neuroscience, MSc in Experimental Medicine (Bioethics), and MDCM at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. Dr. Demko also completed her anatomical pathology residency at McGill, followed by a hematopathology fellowship at Weill Cornell Medicine/New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Her electives during this time were focused in cutaneous hematolymphoid proliferations with Dr. Cynthia Magro as well as molecular hematopathology and cytogenetics. She has also completed specialized training in hematology and hematopathology through various conferences and courses including a flow cytometry course at the University of Salamanca; clinical conferences such as Cornell's Lymphoma, Leukemia & Myeloma Congress and the American Society for Hematopathology; as well as the Tutorial on Neoplastic Hematopathology.Â
Main research interests: machine learning models in flow cytometry as well as quantitative methods in hematological diagnosis
