Gertruda (Greta) Evaristo
HBSc, MD, FRCP(C)
Dr. Greta Evaristo is a Gastrointestinal and Liver pathologist, double board certified by the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Pathology. She received her MD degree at the University of Montreal after obtaining a BSc with honours in Microbiology & Immunology from Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. After returning to McGill to complete her anatomical pathology residency, Dr. Evaristo went on to pursue a Gastrointestinal & Hepatic pathology fellowship at the University of Chicago under the direction of Dr. John Hart. Her main academic interests include hepatobiliary and gastroesophageal neoplasms, as well as medical liver pathology. Dr. Evaristo likewise has a particular interest in medical education, currently directing the McGill GI & Liver Pathology Fellowship, and serves on several committees, including USCAP (Education Committee, CME Subcommittee) and College of American Pathologists (House of Delegates, Delegate Chair - Quebec).
