Sabrina Carrié
Assistant Professor
Dr. Carrié is a Harvard Medical School graduate. She completed her residency in anesthesia at McGill and her pediatric anesthesia fellowship in Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Additionally, she completed a fellowship in pediatric pain at the Boston Children’s Hospital. She is a staff member of the Edwards Family Interdisciplinary Center for Complex Pain at the Montreal Children’s Hospital (CCP-MCH). She is leading the fellowship program of the CCP-MCH and a program to anticipate the treatment of children with persistent acute pain. Her clinical and research interests include acute and chronic pain in children and are also linked to her background in both regional and interventional treatments. Her research also includes the evaluation of the parasympathetic response as a surrogate of nociception in children and adolescents with chronic pain. Â
