Ottawa Citizen - Who can complain about this election?

Published: 13 April 2011

According to McGill's William Watson, the campaign is going pretty well:  "If people are talking mainly about trivialities like Tory obsessive-compulsiveness, Jack Layton's cane and whether Michael Ignatieff is enjoying himself (he seems to be), well, who's [sic] fault is that? If you don't want the campaign to be about trivialities, maybe you shouldn't make them your No. 1 story every day.

"The Tories are worried about disrupters crashing their events? If the press didn't scrum disrupters, like that union guy in Hamilton the other day, and give them the national bullhorn for 30 seconds, thus ruining the campaign's message for the day, maybe the Tories wouldn't be so obsessive."
