McGill welcomes support for research system

㽶Ƶ welcomed the of $450M to ensure continuity in Canada’s academic research system, as well as the granting flexibility in post-graduation work permit rules to help attract international students to our programs.
“These announcements come in at a crucial and timely moment, and will assist universities in attracting, supporting and retaining the brightest graduate students and expert researchers, allowing Canada to maintain its global leadership in research”, said Principal Suzanne Fortier. “The engagementof universities in discovery and innovationis instrumentalin addressing this globalhealth crisis and supportinga robust recovery for all Canadians”.
