CNW - Joel Wapnick spells V-I-C-T-O-R-Y at the 2011 Canadian National Scrabble® Championship

After four days of intense word play and a riveting best-of-five-finale, Joel Wapnick, a 65 year old Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Music Professor and former world champion, spelled his way to the top and will be crowned the 2011 Canadian National SCRABBLE® Champion. Wapnick scored 423 points in the winning round and racked up major points on words such as "deistic" (81),  "feijoas" (84) and "zarf" (48).
