Biography:
Established in 2021 by family and friends of Dennis Miller, a long-time professor of tuba at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ and member of the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal. Mr. Miller was an accomplished musician for more than 50 years as well as a beloved teacher, conductor, cherished coach and mentor to many in the brass department at McGill. Awarded by the Schulich School of Music Scholarship Committee to one or more outstanding undergraduate low brass students entering or enrolled in the Schulich School of Music on the basis of high academic standing and performance excellence. Preference will be given to students facing systemic barriers to education.
