The Analysis, Creation and Teaching of Orchestration (ACTOR) project and the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Music Media and Technology (CIRMMT) announce the Speaker Series: Afrological Perspectives on Timbre and Orchestration. The first talk of the series will be presented by Dr. Bibian Kalinde (University of Zambia) on Friday 30 September 2022Ìý´Ú°ù´Ç³¾Ìý12:00pm -1:15pm (EDT) and is entitled "Unraveling timbre in the music of the marriage ceremony of the Chewa and Bemba in Zambia."
