Kathleen (Kate) Rice is Assistant Professor and Research Director in the Department of Family Medicine at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, where she holds the Tier II Canada Research Chair in the Medical Anthropology of Primary Care.Ìý Kate has been engaged in ethnographic research on chronic pain in Canada a decade, as is Co-Director of the Partnership for the Engagement of People in Pain Research (), a 5-year, multidisciplinary partnership that aims to advance, equity, diversity, and inclusion and build capacity for critical social science scholarship in the world of pain research.Ìý
