This major gathering of healthcare professionals and palliative care specialists from around the world has been hosted in Montr茅al every second year since 1976. Since the inaugural meeting attended by Cicely Saunders, Elizabeth K眉bler-Ross and Balfour Mount, we are extremely proud of this tradition that has contributed to enhancing care for those confronted with terminal illness, and to the growth of this clinical field.

The McGill International Congress offers a unique conference experience: galvanizing plenary speakers; in-depth experiential workshops; seminars covering all aspects of end-of-life care, from the most current scientific developments in pain and symptom control to the large existential questions. All sessions are structured to allow ample time for dialogue, questions and thoughtful interaction.
