This series is organized in collaboration with theÌýÏ㽶ÊÓƵ Health CentreÌýand theÌýMGH 200th Anniversary Organizing Committee.

CODE LiFE INTERVIEWS: How Pandemics Shape Medicine

A hundred years after the 1918 flu pandemic changed public health practices forever, the world faces another deadly and devastating disease, COVID-19. What are its effects on hospital staff and patient care? How is the battle with COVID-19 shaping medicine and defining the future of healthcare?

With Host Annie DeMelt and Special Guests:

Dr. Donald VinhÌýis an infectious disease specialist and medical microbiologist at the Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Health Centre, and Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at McGill.

Dr. Nitika Pant PaiÌýis a global expert in HIV, Associate Professor in Clinical Epidemiology and Experimental Medicine at McGill and a physician- scientist at the Research Institute of the Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Health Centre.

France PaquetÌýis the nurse manager for the infection prevention and control department (adult side) of the Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Health Centre, a role she has held since October 2020
