Before completing his MBA at Desautels, Craig Buntin was an Olympic Athlete and entrepreneur. As a pairs figure skater, he was three time Canadian Champion, representing Canada at the 2006 Olympics in Torino. Four years later, he was the first student in McGill's MBA program to be accepted without first completing an undergraduate degree. That same year he founded his first company, producing and selling consumer packaged goods, a company which he built and sold while completing his MBA. After graduating, Mr. Buntin co-founded SportLogiQ, a Montreal based tech startup which uses standard sports game footage to track players and generate automated game statistics. The company acquired a set of complex computer vision technologies (which were developed in McGill's engineering department), and is now generating player stats for two NHL teams leading up to the 2015 NHL Draft. In his last semester, Mr. Buntin completed an independent study entitled "I am Going to Change the World", and his personal goal is to act on that statement every single day.
