Title: Shape invariant and coarse Banach-Mazur distance.

Abstract: In this talk, we will study a quantitative comparison, called the coarse Banach-Mazur distance, between two star-shaped domains of a Liouville manifold. This can be regarded as a non-linear and symplectic version of the classical Banach-Mazur distance between convex bodies. We will demonstrate how to use shape invariant, a powerful symplectic invariant invented by Sikorav and Eliashberg, to study the large-scale geometry of the space consisting of star-shaped domains of some Liouville manifolds with respect to this coarse Banach-Mazur distance. This talk is based on a joint work in progress with Richard Hind.
