Do you struggle with communicating your research to different audiences? SKILLSETS in collaboration with the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (FAES) is excited to launch the first year of the Lister Family Engaged Science Initiative. This year, there are numerous workshops available to help you improve your science communication skills.

Talking It Up Without Dumbing It Down Workshop Series (3-workshops)

This workshop series is designed to teach faculty members andÌýgraduate students effective ways to explain their research to a variety of audiences. These workshops offerÌýparticipants the opportunity to develop personalized research pitches and present their work effectively in written, oral, and visual platforms.

The second workshop, Oral Presentation Skills, will cover strategies to explain the nuances of research through effective oral presentation. This session will address communicating research to small and large audiences, whether in 30 seconds or 30 minutes.
