Centennial Centre
Ceilidh, 21111 Lakeshore Road, St Anne de Bellevue, QC, H9X 3V9, CA
All students and staff are welcome to a lunch meeting with Rev. Neil Whitehouse, Interim Director McGill Chaplaincy Services, who will address how the struggle for global change to life-sustaining societies affects us personally. Â
This uses the work of buddhist eco-theologian Joanna Macy (Coming Back to Life). The approach is to move through four themes: thanksgiving, acknowledgement of the burdens of alarm, seeing with new eyes, and going forward. Â
A Monday meditation programme starts on Downtown Campus in February - this session is an introduction for the Mac Community.
Come to experience the work and sense how this could empower you to live well, with the urgent need for change.
