A Celebration of the life of Terry Wheeler
This past summer on July 25th our friend and colleague Terry Wheeler lost his courageous battle with cancer. Terry was an Associate Professor of Entomology in the Natural Resource Sciences Department as well as an Associate Member in the McGill School of Environment.
Terry was an outstanding researcher who worked at the interface of taxonomy, phylogeny and the ecology of insects. He was also wonderful teacher whose passion for learning and his love of nature strongly influenced the lives of many undergraduate and graduate students.
We would like to invite his friends, colleagues and the many students he taught to a celebration of Terry’s life on Friday, 29th September beginning at 4:30 pm. The celebration will be held in the Ceilidh Bar. This gathering will be an informal way of sharing stories about a most colouful individual who always left an impression once you had met him. Small snacks will be available along with a cash bar.
Please RSVP George McCourt at george.mccourt [at] mcgill.ca if you think you can attend.
