8th McGill Conference on Global Food Security
It is with great pleasure we invite you to join us at the 8th McGill Conference on Global Food Security on October 27th and 28th, 2015 and to be an active voice in the discussions regarding one of the world’s most pressing humanitarian and environmental challenges: improving access to nutritious food for a growing global population. This year's theme, Current and Future Challenges for Sustainable Food Security, will look at the challenges faced by industrialized and developing countries. A student-run session will present the student view, and a special panel will discuss who will be farming in the future and how.
The Conference will open on the evening of Tuesday October 27th with a Public Lecture by Kanayo F. Nwanze, President, International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) on Current and Future Challenges for Sustainable Food Security , followed onÌý October 28th by a day of Conference Sessions, a poster competition, and a networking cocktail in the evening.
