For its flagship event, theÌý2016 Beaverbrook Annual Lecture, Media@McGillÌýis excited to announce two speakers:ÌýSheila Watt-Cloutier, environmental, cultural and human rights advocate and author ofÌýThe Right to be Cold, andÌýElena Bennett, Associate Professor,ÌýÏ㽶ÊÓƵ, who will each give a talk then engage in a Q&A with the public on the overall issues of media and the environment.

Watt-Cloutier and Bennett join an impressive roster of speakers who have taken part in this event, which includes luminaries such as Al Gore, Angela Davis, Seymour Hersh, and Glenn Greenwald, among others.

The Lecture will take place onÌýMonday, October 24, 2014Ìýat Moot Court, Faculty of Law, Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, Montréal, Quebec. As always, the Lecture is free and open to the public.
