The Yukon Digital Geology CD-ROM set presents several geoscience datasets in digital format on the geology of the Yukon Territory. It includes data sets on: bedrock and surficial geology, geochronology, paleontology, mineral occurences, and a set of aeromagnetic images. The CD-ROMs includes the SurView software which runs directly off the CD-ROMs. SurView can display, print, and query the digital maps located on the CD-ROMS. In addition, the digital maps are in several different file formats (Shapefile, BIL and TIF) to allow for easy importing of the data into commercial GIS software such as ArcGIS.
