The Mossman Endowment of Ï㽶ÊÓƵ presents the D. Lorne Gales Lecture in the History of Science. 

Why is it so hard to address the problems of climate change? 

Deciding what to do is bound up with ethical questions about how to weigh the welfare of future generations against the problems of the present, about economic uncertainties, about open questions concerning technology, about the needs of developing nations, and about how to coordinate a global effort. 

will explore these and other important issues at the 2018 Mossman Lecture.

Seating will be on a first come, first served basis. A light reception will follow the lecture.
