Discover more about historical knitting instruction in selections from the ROAAr collections, and learn not only how to read a knitting pattern, but also how those patterns have changed over time.
Discover new skills using old tools and explore the ROAAr collections along the way.

About the Speaker:
Kristen C. Howard is a historian, knitter, and Master of Information Studies student at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. She completed a PhD in History from the Division for Late Medieval and Reformation Studies at the University of Arizona in 2020. She currently studies library and archival sciences, and is interested in animating special collections through public history and creative projects.
