Paper surrounds us everyday - not only as bound books but also in the manifold examples of ephemera of our daily lives: advertisements packaging, magazines, postcards, posters, colouring books, labels, stationary and birthday streamers. Meet Denise Lapointe and David Carruthers, award-winning artisans of paper. They will share the historical origins of Papeterie Saint-Armand, their paper-making business in Montreal, and describe the materials and the intricate process of paper production. We will come to know their vital role as suppliers and makers of books. Come and explore a paper landscape with us!

Note: This will be a hybrid event. Please indicate online or in-person attendance on the RSVP form.
