Exhibition: "Through Tragedy We Transform: The Metamorphosis of the Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Campus in the Aftermath of the Great War (1914-1918)"
A new display in the lobby of the James Administration Building brings together images from images of objects from across ROAAr (Rare Books & Special Collections, Osler, Art, and Archives) to tell the story of the First World War's impact on the university and campus-at-large. Curated by the Visual Arts Collection, and designed by the McGill Graphics team, it focuses on the ways in which McGill has remembered the sacrifices of its community members and highlights remembrance projects that never came to fruition.
The exhibition was produced with the generous support of the Friends of McGill, the McGill Remembers project, and McGill Associates.
