Modérée par Sally Armstrong, cette conversation entre le Haut Commissaire Filippo Grandi et la poétesse et activiste Ketty Nivyabandi explorera le leadership des femmes dans la recherche de solutions aux déplacements de populations. La conversation d'une heure sera suivie d'une réception.

  • Filippo Grandi, UN High Commissioner for Refugees. HC Grandi has been engaged in refugee and humanitarian work for more than 30 years.
  • Ketty Nivyabandi, Burundian poet, writer and activist. Her leadership in mobilizing women in protest against the Burundi government led to her fleeing from persecution to Canada. She currently lives in Ontario.
  • Sally Armstrong, award-winning author, journalist and human rights activist. Ms. Armstrong covers conflict zones to shed light on the lives of women and girls.
