New Alumni Relations and Career Development Office staff members
The Faculty of Law is pleased to welcome four new staff members in its administrative team. Three new people have joined our University Advancement team, in charge of promoting engagement within our alumni community and fundraising for Faculty priorities. As Advancement Director, Isabelle Limoges took the helm of the team, while Davina Loporcaro and Julie Timmins have joined the ranks as Advancement Officers. The Career Development Office also welcomed Claudine Borderave as a new Career Development Associate.
The Faculty of Law also thanks Nick Synnott, who has taken on a new opportunity at McGill as Associate Director, Tri-State Region. As Associate Director of Development, Nick has overseen a lot of changes in his time at the Faculty, and we are grateful for all of his contributions. We wish him the greatest success within his new team!
Isabelle Limoges has over 20 years of experience in business development, working in international development and more recently in philanthropy. She has worked as Executive Director for the Fondation Jeunes en tête and as the External Advisor for the Quebec Business Women’s Network. Julie Timmins first came on board at McGill in 2008 as a University Events officer working in the Principal’s Office, before joining the Development and Alumni Relations team in 2011. Her prior experience in supporting volunteers and volunteer partnerships across the university will be valuable in her new role. Julie will perform a wide range of activities to meaningfully engage alumni and other members of the McGill community in the Faculty.
Claudine Bordenave has several years of experience working as a communications coordinator at a Montreal law firm. Since she joined the Career Development Office (CDO) at the beginning of the semester, she has been involved with the organization of career and professional development events, the CDO’s communications, as well as the development and update of the CDO’s resources.
