Nahum Gelber Law Library Resources for Instructors

Published: 25 March 2020

The Nahum Gelber Law Library is aware that many professors, instructors and sessional lecturers are adjusting course material and preparing to move to remote teaching starting 30 March 2020, and invites you to keep in mind the Law Library’s extensive collection of juridical e-books that could support your teaching.

Most are accessible directly from the catalogue, while others need to be accessed from specific databases.

A complete list of books placed on reserve this semester and their electronic availability can be found . If you notice that one of your required readings is not available electronically, please contact us. We will make every effort to meet your needs.

Additionally, here are a couple of things to note regarding your research:

  • The library continues to fulfill Interlibrary Loans (ILL) requests for journal article scans, but not for physical books.
  • The library has procured 10 electronic licenses for The Bluebook, valid for 60 days. If you would like a code (for yourself or your RA), please contact katarina.daniels [at] mcgill.ca.
  • Your librarians remain available by email for reference questions or purchase requests. We are also available through Zoom.

If there is anything we can do to support your teaching and research in these challenging times, don’t hesitate to contact the Nahum Gelber Law Library Team.
