Tax Policy Colloquium: Rosanne Altshuler

The Stikeman Chair in Tax Law is holding its second annual Spiegel Sohmer Tax Policy Colloquium as part of its PUB2 515 Tax Policy class. Featuring distinguished visiting academics, it is a forum for students, professors and local practitioners to discuss issues of tax policy and theory, along with related issues of economics and social justice. This fall, in its second installment, the Colloquium will focus on the fundamentals of corporate tax policy by critically examining issues in national and international tax policy.

This week, the Colloquium welcomes , Rutgers U.

Rosanne Altshuler is Dean of Social and Behavioral Science and a Professor of Economics at Rutgers University. She was the Chair of the Department of Economics at Rutgers from 2011 to 2015. She has written widely on federal tax policy, including her most recent article “Lessons the United States Can Learn from Other Countries’ Territorial Systems for Taxing Income of Multinational Corporations.â€

Members of the public are welcome (please note that the colloquium takes place in a classroom setting).
