Join us for a screening of , a 2019 documentary by Jamie Kastner about the largest art fraud case in Canadian history.
A Q&A session will follow with Jonathan Sommer, of Sommer's Law in Toronto, the lawyer who tried the case representing plaintiff Kevin Hearn of the Barenaked Ladies, and filmmaker Jamie Kastner. DCL candidate François Le Moine will introduce the speakers and moderate the discussion. Several lawyers from Norton Rose Fulbright will also be attending.
Participants are invited to read the decisions of the Ontario Superior Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal in order to fully participate in the discussion:
