Perspectives on Arbitration in Canada
The McGill Journal of Dispute Resolution () and the McGill Arbitration Student Society () are delighted to invite you to their Arbitration Symposium, which this year will discuss the theme of "Perspectives on Arbitration in Canada" .
The annual Arbitration Symposium aims to bring academics, practitioners and students together to promote to promote discourse and the exchange of ideas in the field of arbitration.
Join us as three arbitration experts from different back grounds present sociological, practical and legal approaches to arbitration in Canada.
Me Martin Valasek, partner and head of International Arbitration in Norton Rose Fulbright, Canada will moderate a panel composed of :
- Me Jacques Darche (BLG) – « Les sources de l’arbitrage international au Canada »
- Professor Joshua Karton (Queen’s University) – “Intersections between sociology and arbitration in Canada”
- Me Annie Lespérance (Cabinet Yves Fortier) – “Insights on the Canadian practice of international arbitration”
