McGill law students with disabilities and their allies are warmly invited to attend this informal networking event organized by Prof. Sébastien Jodoin (a member of the McGill Joint-Board Senate Subcommittee for Persons with Disabilities), in collaboration with the wellness advisors in the Faculty of Law and the Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism.

This event will provide a safe, accessible, and supportive space in which law students can come together to reduce stigmas around disability in the Faculty of Law, including physical, communication or sensory impairments, mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and chronic illnesses. Many law students with disabilities can feel isolated, and thus this event aims to foster the emergence of a community within the Faculty.

Light refreshments will be provided. . If you require any disability-related accommodations or have any dietary restrictions, kindly advise us a week before the event in the RSVP form.

If you are unable to participate, but would like to be kept informed of future events for students with disabilities, sign up using the RVSP form above.
