Ever wondered what your professors do every day when not teaching? Or what it actually means to be a legal academic? Or whether a career in academia is right for you?
Find out during McGill Law’s Research Week, taking place February 17-20!
Research Week aims to present and celebrate our community's legal scholarship. Faculty, staff and students are invited to participate. Here are some events to which all are invited:
- Monday, February 17, 13:30-14:30 - NCDH 202: lunch time talk with Professors Khoury, Muniz-Fraticelli and Van Praagh, who will discuss their research programs and the ins and outs of legal academia.
- Tuesday, February 18, 13:30-14:30 - NCDH 200: A session on academic careers: Professors Campbell, Manikis and Mégret will discuss the realities of legal academia.
- Thursday, February 20, 15:00-16:30 - NCDH 316: a session for research assistants. Anyone currently working as an RA or who wishes to work as an RA this summer should sign up to learn some tricks of the trade that will make your profs love you! NB: a few spaces remain!
