Homecoming At Home: Hockey Night at McGill Law All-Class Reunion
The Summit Series, known at the time simply as the Canada-USSR Series, was an eight-game ice hockey series between the Soviet Union and Canada, held in September 1972. It started what remains today, almost 50 years later, the greatest rivalry in international hockey.
We are delighted to welcome two members of the 1972 Canada team and of the Hockey Hall of Fame, Law alumnus Mr. Ken Dryden and Mr. Serge Savard, for a dynamic conversation, moderated by sport news anchor David Amber. These two living legends will share their view of the 1972 Summit Series, Soviets vs. Canada, the game of hockey, and more.

Our online reunion will use the "Shindig" web-based event platform, which offers the dynamics of an in-person event in a virtual environment. Audience members are able to network, discuss and socialize in self-initiated private video chats just as they would naturally at in person events.
This All-Classes Law reunion is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends, network with other Law alumni, and share your successes with your Faculty of Law. We extend a warm welcome to classes marking milestone reunions, as well as alumni from all other years.
