Adjunct Professor Louise Otis invites Law students to join her for special conferences as part of her Focus Week Workshop on the Law of International Organizations.

For this talk, we welcome special guest James Lee. He will deliver a lecture on the informal system of justice of the United Nations (UN) which encompasses the Office of Ombudsman and the Office of mediation. He is one of the most qualified expert in conflict resolution in the UN Family.

About the speaker

After retiring from full-time service as the first Joint Ombudsperson for UNDP/UNFPA/UNICEF/UNOPS, James Lee works as a consultant covering the whole range of ombudsman services, working mainly through the United Nations system.
