The McGill Institute for the Study of Canada, in partnership with McGill Faculty of Law, and the School of Public Policy and Governance at University of Toronto, is hosting a two-day public symposium on Canada's electoral system.

Six expert panels will discuss Canada's electoral system: how it works, its flaws and its advantages, the legitimacy of electoral reform without a referendum, and, finally, whether there are alternative reforms we should consider.

The symposium takes place in Ottawa on October 28, and Montreal on November 1.

To see the list of panelists and to register, visit: www.mcgill.ca/misc/events/electoral-reform

A cocktail reception will follow.
