On the Decline of Legal Doctrine
The Runnymede Society student club welcomes Justices David Stratas and Marc Nadon for a debate on legal doctrine.
Justices David Stratas and Marc Nadon of the Federal Court of Appeal will discuss, among other things, the state of administrative law in Canada. The Justices, who have divergent opinions on the matter, will debate the standard of review and its impact on the rule of law, with a general proposition that there is a decline in legal doctrine.
