The Friends of the McGill Library present the 2017 Hugh MacLennan Lecture in partnership with the Blue Metropolis Literary Festival.

From her perspective as an immigrant and now as a prominent citizen, Charlotte Gray, acclaimed commentator and author of many works of nonfiction, including the recent The Promise of Canada: 150 Years - People and Ideas That Have Shaped Our Country, sheds light on the nation's evolution.
