The Centre for Intellectual Property Policy () welcomes Pierre Nguyen, partner and patent agent, Norton Rose Fulbright.

About the speaker

Pierre Nguyen is a partner and patent agent at Norton Rose Fulbright, and currently teaches in the Department of Biomedical Engineering of the Faculty of Medicine of Ï㽶ÊÓƵ.

Mr. Nguyen has had successful mandates as chairman of the Montreal chapter of Informal Conferences of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC), chairman of the IPIC/Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Course Committee and Director of the Understanding Patents course. Mr. Nguyen has played a leading role in the creation of patent portfolios for world leaders in various industries, including computer-assisted surgery and medical devices, aeronautics, robotics, refrigeration, motion simulation, business methods, finance and general mechanics. Mr. Nguyen is a frequent lecturer on intellectual property.

This conference has been accredited for 1.5 hours of continuing legal education by a recognized provider.
