Wondering about career possibilities and options following your BA? Inspiration awaits at the “It Starts with Arts” roundtable. At the event, students will have the chance to meet and talk briefly with professionals from a diverse range of fields who have used their BAs as a springboard to launch their careers

Speaker: Glenda Newton

Glenda has over 20 years of experience in Human Resource Management, obtained working in; private, public and UN Common System sectors, in numerous global locations. Currently on a secondment to The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) as HR Officer- Gender and Outreach she holds a right of return to her position as, Chief Human Resources Officer at the United Nations Global Service Centre in Italy, expected to return February 2020. Glenda has also held positions within the UN Secretariat, in the Office of Human Resources Management, UNHQ N.Y., including Gender Focal Point and Performance Management Focal Point.

Glenda holds a Master’s of Science in Human Resources Management as well as a BA in Science & Human Affairs and a BA in Human Environment Relations (minor Biology), additionally, she is a Senior Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resources Management (SCP-SHRM).

Glenda has a passion for leadership development around gender and has influenced change in and outside of the work environment.
