Trauma Sensitive Yoga
Come join the Office for Sexual Violence Response, Support and Education for a trauma-sensitive yoga session. Designed as an alternative to traditional yoga practices, Trauma Sensitive Yoga has foundations in trauma theory, attachment theory, and Hatha Yoga practice, with an emphasis on body-based yoga forms and breathing practices.

Jodi Proctor will guide the classes. SheÌýworks with individuals and communities to build resilience, self-awareness, and effective coping skills.Ìý She is a practicing therapist, as well as a certified yoga and meditation teacher.Ìý She specializes in anxiety, grief, and stress management.Ìý
