Skills for Success in a Professional Environment
In this workshop, participants are introduced to some of the soft skills that are essential to any career, academic or not. In particular, they learn about effective workplace productivity techniques, strategies for working collaboratively and individually, and tips to improve and apply their professional skill set.ÌýSpecial thanks to Interac Corp. for sponsoring this workshop.

Facilitator Bio:
Elizabeth is a 1st year Master of Science student at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ’s Institute of Parasitology. She works for Teaching and Learning Services of McGill as a Student Skills Assistant, facilitating and developing workshops and webinars that aim to help students achieve their academic and non-academic goals. Elizabeth did her undergraduate in the Honours Life Science program at Macdonald Campus of McGill, where she indulged herself early on in the world of research. She will speak to her experiences in navigating a professional environment, and how to stand out and succeed!
