Introduction to Programming in Python
Overview: This workshop will give an overview of the logical foundations of programming in Python.

At the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
Ìý Ìý> Understand the different types of variables in Python (data types and data structures)
Ìý Ìý> Write simple scripts
Ìý Ìý> Use control flow to automate your scripts
Ìý Ìý> Understand how to load and use libraries

Prerequisites:
Ìý Ìý· No prior programming knowledge is required.
Ìý Ìý· Install Anaconda on your computer. You can find installation instructionsÌýhere. Please contact us (cdsi.science [at] mcgill.ca) if you are having trouble with installation.
